There are sure to be tons of cookouts this weekend with the holiday this week so I am going to share the baked beans that I made this past weekend for my sister!
When it is this hot outside there is nothing worse than turning on the oven....so this is done in the good ole crock pot!! No heating up the house with this recipe! And to top it off, theres a little cheater secret I got for you too.
Here is your shopping list....4 cans of pork and beans (cheater) any brand is fine. Kroger had the Van Camps 2/1.00 this week, so I stocked up! BBQ sauce, again, any brand. Mustard, Worstershire sauce, 1 large green bell pepper, brown sugar, and red onion.
Finely dice the whole bell pepper. You will need about 1/2 cup diced red onion. I bought the onion prediced and then chopped away at it some more because my family will freak out if they find one!
Yum! Cooking time and they smell so good!
Ok, so you want the whole recipe? Here ya go! These are sure to be a hit at your next BBQ.....just like Grandmas on easy peasy!!
